Camping

We went camping a few weeks ago up Hobble Creek Canyon (above Mapleton).  We tried Dutch Oven for the first time!  What a tasty success!  We made Cherry Cobbler and that little oven will accompany us on every camping trip for here on out.  Sooo yummy.
Some chicken sausage tin foil dinners thrown in the fire.  Din din.

Cherry cobbler :)  Bad picture. :(

Katy loves to cook and LOVES the free samples we always see around the grocery store.  So she always makes a little set up of her own. This mornings sample, milkshakes.  Or hot cocoa.
Jack and Daddy fishing along the river.  Jack told Jason to say "fishing!"  instead of "cheese".  Fishing!
 Some classic sass from Kate.
Leah going with the flow and enjoying the cool, fresh air up there.  A great trip.  One of many to come.
There you go Julia.  You got it.  Just like we do at home.

Kate dances

A nice high school student in our ward loves to dance.  She approached a couple of little girls in our ward and wondered if they would like to come to a "Beginning Dance Expressions" :) class throughout the summer.  It doesn't cost anything, it's one day a week for an hour and Kate wanted to go.  There are only 2 sometimes 3 other little girls in the class.  Kate loves getting dressed up for it once a week.  We dug around in the dress up clothes and found her a great  garage sale dance outfit.  Perfect.  We're happy for her and glad she is getting out and into a little class with other kids because she can be very, very reserved.
