Keeping busy

It's beginning to really warm up.  Supposed to be 100 today so we decided to head to the Splash Pad.  We also figured out that the best time to go is right after 9:00.  No one is there!  And by the time 11:30 rolls around and we are ready to go, the place is crawling with people.  So it works out great!  It cools the kids off and wears them out. :)

Jack and Julia are always off on some adventure together.

Kate usually stays close to me and picks bouquets of flowers.

We really love this development in Spanish Fork.  A couple of years ago they built this great park and now a fun Splash Pad.  We especially love it because it is less than a  1 minute walk to Daddy's work.  He comes down on his break and we have lunch together.  It is the white building you can barely see there in the background.

I didn't get close enough, but that's the park.  The kids love it and it has these huge umbrella like things stretched out over all of the equipment so it stays shady.  A Costco is going up behind it and that makes up happy too because Cosco pizza tastes like New York pizza.  Hard to find out here.  But no where near as good as the real thing.

:)

Outside having some fun painting bird houses.

Good job Jack!

Julia in trouble to snatching Leah's pacifier.

It was fun taking these last set of pictures with my film camera.  It's amazing how grainy they look compared to what digital pictures look like nowadays.  But that is 400 ISO film, so not the finest grain but about average.  But that exposure on Kate is unbeatable.  Still love that old F5.

Katy & Jack talk

A conversation I over heard today between Jack and Katy.
Jack: It's super hot out today.
Katy: Uh huh. (Really focusing in on her otter pop)
Jack:  I wish we didn't live in the desert.
Katy:  Uh huh.
Jack:  I wish it would rain.
Katy: I wish Jesus would flood the earth.

Jack Graduates

Jack graduated from preschool on May 22.  We are so proud of the little guy.  He can't wait for Kindergarten to start.  It will surely be a bitter sweet day for us though.  Julia and I made him some graduation hats one night out of Recess Cups and Lindt Squares. Yum:)

The theme for graduation was "Going to the Zoo"

I've had a hard time uploading videos but each kid had to hold a zoo animal and walk onto stage.  They also had to memorize individual parts and Jack's was "Hippos are huge and they eat  tons of grass.  What would you do if one came to our class?"  He did great!

Julia really wasn't all that interested in the ceremony.  She played in the flowers the whole time.

Jack and his teacher Mrs Patti.  He loves her so much. Congratulations Jack!!
